This Privacy Policy explains how Before You Wipe, published by RABBIT WHITE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, handles information when you use the application.
1. What the app processes
Before You Wipe is designed to scan locations you choose on your Windows PC or connected storage devices for image files. To provide its photo review and save workflow, the app may read file-system information, image metadata, and image contents from the locations you select.
2. Local processing
The app is designed to perform its photo scanning, grouping, review, copy, and verification workflow locally on your Windows device. Your original files remain in their original locations unless you separately modify them outside the app.
3. Photo transmission
Before You Wipe does not require you to upload your photos to Rabbit White Technology in order to use its core scanning, review, save, or verification features.
4. Accounts
No user account is required to use Before You Wipe.
5. Data we do not sell
Rabbit White Technology does not sell the contents of photos you scan with Before You Wipe, and the app is not designed to use your photos for advertising profiles.
6. Support communications
If you contact us for support, we will receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, diagnostic details, or attachments. Please do not send private photos or other sensitive files unless they are necessary for the support request and you choose to provide them.
7. Your choices and controls
You choose which drive or folder to scan, which photo groups to save, and the destination used for saved copies. You can stop using the app at any time. Before erasing an old PC or drive, you should independently verify that the copies you want to keep are present and usable.
8. Security and limitations
We design Before You Wipe around local processing and non-destructive source handling. No software can guarantee that every important photo will be identified or that storage hardware will remain readable. Before You Wipe is not a data-recovery service.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
